Muddy Boot Hike 2008 has been postponed
The Muddy Boot is an annual (ish) event that has run on and off for nearly 20 years and is open to all Scouts in the Ashdown District. The
principle format is an Incident based - Night Hike with the emphasis on fun rather than a physical challenge. Teams gain points by completing incidents and

It is approx. 10K in distance and is open to teams of 4-6 Scouts with no more than one PL. in each team.
The hike takes place on the 26th/27th April. Teams should report to the start at Mayfield Scout Hut (TQ 588 271) at 20:00 were they will be

location of the Wadhurst and Ticehurst St Georges Camp. Scouts will then be able to sleep in provided tents and will be fed breakfast in the morning. Parents
