Explorers are aged between 14 and 18 years, there are three Explorer units Tullis Explorers, Avery Explorers and the Uckfield/Buxted area Explorers is starting 7th October 2008 click here for details. The units are named after the famous local mountaineers Julie Tullis and Tom Avery

Tullis meets at Crowborough Scout HQ on Wednesdays 8pm to 10pm, contact Grant Kerwin-Nye

The Buxted/Uckfield Unit is opening on 7th October 2008, meeting at Buxted Scout HQ on Tuesday Evenings from 7.30pm - 9.30pm, contact Eddy Mower

Avery meets at Ticehurst Scout HQ on Wednesdays 7pm to 9pm, contact Rob Burdon

2007 Explorer of the year was Christopher Morris with runner up Toby Dawkins

2006 Explorer of the Year Award was won by Stephen Wrathall with Sam Coates as runner up.
